Penny Hamel
Penny’s father was 100% Lebanese. She grew up in a home with her Lebanese grandparents just downstairs. She is a graduate of Merrimack College with a B.S. in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude. A mortgage loan originator for US Bank, who in addition to serving on the Board of directors for ALAA, is on the board for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, The Westford Rotary Club and the Psychological Center that runs the DayBreak Shelter, Women’s View & Pegasus House. Penny is also the Eastern Mass Representative for the Australian Shepherd rescue.
Her hobbies when she isn’t busy with volunteer work include skiing, hiking and golf.
She’s married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff. They have two grown daughters. Ashley who is an engineer and Nicole who is an ICU nurse. They split their time between their home in Methuen and their home in Jackson NH.
